We collect personal data directly from you, such as when you are an existing client, or attend one of our events, and about you which we receive indirectly from your employer.

We collect directly from you:

Identification Data – name, work contact details, job title, organisation, work address

LogIn Data – your username and password

Marketing Preferences – confirmation that you wish to receive marketing communications from us.

Cookie Preferences – IP address of the device you use to visit our sites.

Photos and videos – Video, photographic, and audio identification material

We also collect the following from your employer when we are providing employee benefits placement services to your employer:

Employee Benefits Data – job title, salary and pensionable salary if different, payroll frequency, date of birth, gender, DOB, health status, dependents’ name and contact details if applicable.

  • Microsoft Corporation who provides our cloud hosting environment and First Technology Group Limited who provide us with IT support,
  • suppliers supporting the day-to-day running of the business e.g. our professional advisors, telephone and internet companies,
  • Insurance companies where we are providing quotes and employee benefits,
  • Youtube and Vimeo.Inc who provide us with our embedded video hosting service and links to videos when you watch EBCtv or attending one of EBC’s events which we record.
  • HubSpot who provides our e-newsletter services.
  • Eventbrite who provides our event registration and e-ticketing services.

Where we share your information with our suppliers, we do so only where those companies have appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to ensure the security of your personal information and any processing they undertake is only carried out on the basis of our instructions or the scope of the service of what we expect these companies to provide.

Where required by law or competent authority, we will share your personal information with regulators, courts, government departments and law enforcement agencies. We will inform you of this before we share your personal information unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
